Foxy! I love it. Like the Jimi Hendrix song "Foxy Lady." That's a nice compliment.
I like:
Gorgeous
Sexy
Amazing
Knockout
Stunning
Jaw-dropping
So f--ing hot
And, you can't beat "beautiful."
That brings up an interesting question: How did "hot" become the go-to world for physical attractiveness? Why not "fetching"? Or "bewitching"? Why does your temperature It's hard to say, "You're so hot" and not sound like a 13-year-old in a '80s teen comedy. But yet, we still use it. Maybe it's time for a new phrase? What do you think?
As a woman, I feel that "beautiful" is such a compliment. It just gives me this special feeling.
I don’t like being called hot or sexy by a guy I barely know. It comes across that he is interested in my body or just sex. Beautiful or pretty will get my attention every time…
He's a keeper! Foxy is my word! It's only used by hippies like me - and apparently your new guy! Love it!!! When BF and I first met 5 years ago through a mutual friend, I told that friend "hey, what's up with your buddy NAME? he's a fox!" and that is what got relayed back to now-BF (as I had hoped). I love that the first thing he found out about me was that I thought he was foxy... it's such a great fun word!!!!
The words that give me the MOST fuzzies are definitely the more unique ones - would LOVE to be called foxy, knockout, or bewitching. I like a little bit of uniqueness. :) The classic gorgeous beautiful, pretty, and even cute are lovely as well.
I definitely appreciate hot and sexy too, as long as they're used sparingly. The difference is, I wouldn be creeped out if I was called hot or sexy (to my face) by a guy I didn't know well; I'd be flattered if said guy used the other terms of attractiveness, however. :)
