Could be a lot of different things. Here are some questions to ask yourself:
1) Bad breath. Do you have halitosis, bleeding gums or gingivitis? Believe it or not, oral hygiene can sometimes trump even really good looks.
2) Would you consider your self a good kisser? If you are either the dead fish type or the super-aggressive, teeth-clanker type, you may need to remedy that.
3) Sometimes a kiss signals true chemistry (cue Cher), could just be a bad mix.
MM you're gonna give this girl a complex! He could really like you and just be freaked out! It sounds like you're young, just give him some space and in a few days give him a call. If he doesn't answer or call back then move on.
Uhm no. Mystery Man is correct. After the kissing he stops calling and texting? Unless she forget to mention a nail & bail.
I wish mystery man would have answered this question legitimately. *sigh* Is bad breath/kissing really the only possible reason?
Why do the first two comments assume the question's author is female?
Ask the friend who introduced the two of you. Sure, you could be a bad kisser, or had an off night, and true, if there's no chemistry some guys won't go back for more. It's also entirely possible he thought HE was bad, or discovered spinach in his teeth when he got home, and figured it was too embarrassing to call you back. Or his S.O. got back from a semester abroad and busted him.
Why do you assume its not? Maybe Elliott the questioner is a she who is in the process of a sex change to be a he, and maybe the he was feeling she/he up and felt awkward and left and stopped calling and texting... chill out.
I didn't assume it wasn't, but I thought it was narrow-minded to make that call blindly. Sometimes a date just won't call afterward, and sometimes it's the date and sometimes it's you. Back in my dating years, I had friends who I kissed, nothing ever developed, and we're still friends today. I had other girls I went out with once or twice, even kissed (or sensed the impending kiss and avoided it) because I could tell she wanted more than I wanted at the time.
I once had a summer long flirt-athon with this guy i met in my college art class.. everything with this guy was great, i could even imagine a future with him, then one day we were standing by the fountain in the quad ( its the most cheesily romantic setting, i know) and he leaned in for our first kiss. let me just say it was HORRIBLE he used way too much tongue and slobbered all over face.. So i thought maybe he was nervous so the next day i tried again and it was still terrible! so needless to say the romance ended there and the attraction melted away..

I'm still learning from you, while I'm trying to achieve my goals. I definitely liked reading all that is written on your site.
