There are no stupid questions, but there are really stupid questions. And there's a difference. Really stupid means that through forces outside oneself - be it family, religious doctrine, media, society as a whole - we feel trapped and led to believe a certain truth. Living within, not questioning or moving past those confines is stupid. Can a dorky country boy like a dark skinned completely opposite girl? YES.
Yes of course. It can, does and frankly should happen, Mr. Country Dork or Miss Dark Skinned Girl. You are more than your region and skin tone. Yes, it plays a part. Yes, it can play a large role in self identity, but if these factors were meant to be all encompassing and facts to separate us, life would truly be an awful, stupid and ugly place. No?
I for one was always attracted to women with different backgrounds and skin tones than me. Over my dating career I've sifted through more shades than a salesman working a paint wheel at Home Depot. Whether you're the doubting self described "country dork" in this question or the dark skinned girl questioning the country boy's interest in you, rest assured attraction and sexuality exists in a wide (and blind) playing field. Far wider than some would like to believe. Move forward if the attraction--physically and personality wise --is there. There's no right reason not to.
I should also note, before I get the comment, that this isn't 100% clearly a white black thing. But I took the liberty of implying "dorky" and "country boy" as the quesiotioner's reveal that this is a white/black question. Am I wrong?
Could be any city dweller of a darker skinned ethnicity, but I think you guessed right that the question pertained to race
As a city girl who seems only to be attracted to country guys, it's very possible :) don't give up on him...country guys are usually pretty awesome.
I find it helps to make an effort to learn about tractors/farm/country stuff, and my guy's only to happy to teach me. Don't ever let anything stand in your way && good luck :)
