Don't be so damned dumb. A man should not hit a woman, ever, unless in last ditch self defense. Full stop. Love doesn't come into it. I have only thrown in the self defense part because some women seem to take "guys don't hit girls" as a license to be exceptionally violent, though it is not something I particularly agree with.
Now, mild, consensual violence, as part of role play, is a completely different kettle of fish.
Abusive relationships are bad, don't even go down that road. Been there done that, lived with an abusive guy for nine months and still can't get rid of him, it's bad news...
Been there, and I just got one advice for u - start running AWAY from that idiot. I took it all because I thought someday he would change after seeing that I genuinely cared for him n loved him but that never happened. Fortunately, God gave me a second chance... and if leave him now, I promise u, soon u will be saying the same. Good Luck.

I think some people are taking 'Love the way you lie' by Rihanna or Eminem to a WRONNGGG level.
'Love the way you lie' is not glamorizing domestic abuse in any way. It is simply a statement about his life, and how in many cases, fueled by alcohol and drugs, a relationship can become volatile, and both partners can be violent. That being said, it is still never okay to hit your partner, no matter how angry or jealous you are.
Yes, it is more than possible for him to actually love you and then beat the shit out of you.
However, he is emotionally disturbed and you are not equipped to handle it. He may love you but that's no excuse to hit you because he can't control himself. Get out, you can't help him or change him. Get out.

All im going to tell you, Is that he doesnt love you at all ! Leave him you can do so much better and you'll fine someone that is going to treat you like a queen. You dont want to be with someone that is going to be hitting you everyday of your life and then have kids with, then your kids are gonna go thrugh the same thing..
