Do guys care if your vagina is shaved?

Honestly, yes. Every guy has a preference one way or the other, which means you're more likely to be struck by lightning than to find a man who is entirely ambivalent to the forestry down below.

A guy's preference on pubic hair (or lack thereof) is tricky because there's really no way to tell what a guy wants until you're both naked and about to get some work done. Most guys prefer a shaved area, but some guys prefer the exact opposite, and there's no early indication as to which way a guy leans. And it's not like you want to ask halfway through the appetizers on your first date. You're going to discover what he likes the same second he discovers if you have what he likes.

That said, don't get to work with the Mach 3 unless you really want to. Some women don't like the feeling of being completely hairless, and some women don't mind it at all. So do whatever you feel most comfortable with. No guy is worth doing something that makes you feel exposed or unpleasant.

Life your life, shave or don't, and the right guy will come along and find exactly what he's looking for.

Some of them will prefer a different grooming type but will accept that that's the way you want to do things down there and will be too busy appreciating getting to see your lady bits in the first place to be too bothered.
I didn't realise my boyfriend's preference until I tried something different and he started waxing (or not) lyrical about how nice it all was. He was perfectly happy before though which just goes to show some of them don't care THAT much.

Be careful with stubble.. My guy was getting irritated by my regrowth and actually just wanted me to grow it to the point of being soft and fluffy.. He was very sweet about it and it wasn't awkward at all. Just wait until he tells you what he wants.

Since you can't tell what he'll like until you've already gotten naked, just keep it trimmed and well groomed in a way that you think is sexy - and then if he has a preference you can adjust. It's hair; it'll grow back either way. I personally prefer to remain Brazilian waxed. I refuse to shave because my ex-husband said the stubble (when I forgot to re-shave once) was like sand paper and needles on his tender bit.

Getting a brazilian doesn't hurt nearly as bad as most people anticipate it will, so long as it's done by a professional. Make sure to check online reviews before going and make sure the place uses hot towel pressure between strips and skin conditioner for after. It's about $50 and lasts 3 months. The more you do it, the less you need it because the hair almost stops growing back after a while. Your body gets used to it and it stops hurting after several sessions too.

In my experience, it's never been an issue. I usually shave bald, but sometimes I leave a racer strip, sometimes I let it grow out a bit (never into a full on bushwackin adventure ground though).... regardless of what look I'm sporting down there at any given time I have literally NEVER had a guy say anything negative about it or become turned off by it. To be honest, though, it does seem they do prefer some kind of grooming - just don't care enough about it to actually be totally turned off by your pubic style. Usually, when a guy sees my vag for the first time and it's either totally shaved or racer stripped, they comment about it and look excited. When it's slightly grown out they don't say anything, so I suspect this is not a preference for most men.

Do whatever you like best for now and then, maybe, when you're in a relationship with a guy ask him his preference. If you don't mind whatever that preference is, start grooming that way. He'll love it!
