Do guys like the fake eyelashes/ fake nails/ hair extensions look on a woman?

If you ask the average dude, "Timmy, do you like a girl with fake eyelashes/fake nails/ hair extensions?" they will say "no". But you're asking if they like the look -- that's a trickier answer. Guys dig girls with nice long eyelashes, manicured nails and banging hair, but aren't necessarily aware of how these looks come to be. Like toddlers, guys can be ignorant in this regard and assume the "hottie stork" just makes you that way.

In other words, most men would be surprised to find out your lashes aren't real or your hair is actually that of an11-year-old Bangladeshi girl, but none the less, they like the look.

This is of course if you're going for a look that borders on reality.

But if your nails are 11 inches long, you have blue braids and stick on lashes longer than Nicki Minaj at a backup dancers coming out party, you're going for something different. "A look," maybe even a make-believe look.  Guys can spot that from across the room. Some definitely dig it; they swarm to it and couldn't care less if your look comes from your Mom's genes or your Dad's credit card.

But note: I think there is a regional, cultural and ethnic component to all of this too. What goes for "the look" in a Dominican neighborhood in Washington Heights NY, might not play in Allentown PA, Athens, Georgia or Athens, Greece.

Regardless, stay true to yourself - attract yourself before trying to attract others. And remember that old saying.  "Beauty is in the eyelash of the owner"

Does the same go when you have the tanned, perfectly done and/or big hair, fake eyelashes and lots of make-up look? Isn't that noticeably fake to guys? And they like it? I always kinda wondered about that and hoped that it was only a certain type of guys that like the look. When I see girls like that at first it's like okay they look good but then I think no, I would never want to look like that. I guess that's what it's about though, they grab attention.

I never wear makeup, or bras, and guys seem to think I do. When I have worn makeup in the past, however, they could hardly seem to tell. I think girls can tell the difference more because we know the amount of product it takes to look a certain way. I put absolutely no product other than organic shampoo and organic conditioner in my hair, but it ends up shinier and healthier looking than those with product, like the girls on commercials, and so it is easily mistaken for hair with tonnes of chemicals added to get it so natural looking (which is utterly laughable).

Though this is ridiculously ironic and quite absurd, it seems the less you use the more natural you look and, apparently, seemingly more altered with additives since you naturally reflect what cosmetics are desperately trying to recreate.

But again, as women, we know how long it takes infront of a mirror to get a certain result so we notice it more when other women put more effort into how they look. Although, this is certainly just my opinion backed by person observations.

As a general rule, guys seem to be pretty bad at differentiating between real and fake on a girl. I know several guys that SWEAR that obviously-fake-chested-girl on tv has natural breasts. Probably because they really want to believe it's true haha.

I'm aware that I could probably wear fake lashes, nails, heavier makeup etc. and fool guys out in public, but I personally am more concerned about having to one day take it all off in front of a boyfriend. I feel like any guy would be pretty turned off if a girl came out of the shower looking completely different than she did going in.

Love that you said "most guys". :) My current partner doesn't like me to wear make-up. If I'm wearing a lot, or put fake nails on, or do anything that basically isn't really me, certain *things* fail to arise, if you know what I mean. And I feel better without all that stuff anyway, so we're a perfect match in that regard.

But some people dig that look, and some people dig wearing it. There's someone for everyone in this crazy world we live in. ^_^

who cares! do you like it?

Whats funny is all the men who claim they like their women all NATURALE.... pursue women of the opposite look, the make up, manicures, and extensions. YEAH RIGHT hypocrites. Then again, there are those who are attracted to these types of artificial women, but fall for the natural beauty. Life is full of surprises.

To thine own self be true! Trust me, totally worth it! :)

I use fake eyelashes. kinda got hooked on them and its hard to let go of using them any day/ but nobody seems to care unless theyre jelous, because my friend said they scare her and a day later she said she might get herself a pair. I can't stop wearing them though because people would be like- what happened?

Some guys like fake girls with fake things, but some guys don't. It's like some girls that love guys with abs, but others really don't care less. I personally don't care as long as they don't. Staying true is the best, so that when you get married to someone that you really care about, you don't find out later in the honeymoon that they're fake.
I don't put on makeup for that reason. I don't want to be "fake" but makeup also takes a lot of time and effort and I have better things to do than that. And in the future, not a lot of people will judge you the way you look. At that time, they'll probably only care about how much money you have. The world kind of really rotate around money, so yeah.

:D

I love false lashes.., guys said they hate it but adores women who wears it. Men who likes simple or natural looking women are usually insecure about themselves. They don't want their ladies looking hot.

Society says girls should be natural . I will never be natural just because society says I should be . I love the fake look. I get my hair dyed platinum blonde , have extensions , false eyelashes , fake tan , wear High heels and dresses . I love the barbiedoll look. My appearance is how I express myself and I don't want to be a natural blank canvas . I'm happy with my barbiedoll look it makes ME HAPPY. People can look however they want too !!! If your happy wearing lots of makeup and looking fake stuff what others think and look whatever way makes you happy . People can look however they want too !!!!!! Just find a guy that likes your style . For example guys who like natural looking girls I don't date. Guys who like my Barbie style I date.. If your happy wearing false eyelashes etc don't become natural just so boys will like you stay the same and just find a guy who will accept you for the way you like to look. :) never change yourself for other people look the way that makes you happy.
