While constantly trying to guess what it is you want us to do IS one of a boyfriend's main occupations, I think most guys can legitimately enjoy a cuddle. He just might not want to cuddle immediately after orgasm, when he's all sweaty and hot and tired and so sleepy and tired, which is when this question usually comes up.
Cuddling can be like a hot tub: amazing for fifteen minutes, then steadily more and more uncomfortable until you have to just murder somebody if out don't get out. It depends on your positioning, combined body heat versus external temperature ratio, and a number of other factors, probably.
As a side note, if anyone has discovered a cuddling position that doesn't dislocate your shoulder after the girl falls asleep, please feel free to share that information.
But yeah, cuddle without fear. If he doesn't feel like it, he'll roll over and fart. As signals go, it's hard to miss.

Aww. How about she rests on your stomach or thigh with the guy's hand on her head/back. Then when she falls asleep, if she does, he can relax his arms :)
I like to rest my head on his chest and listen to his heartbeat. Very soothing. Then once I go to sleep, he's free to shake me off, roll me over, etc. One thing he's not allowed to do is wake me up. I need my beauty sleep. :)
I'm a girl and I have a problem with cuddling. I can only cuddle for so long before I get a crick in my neck or my arm falls asleep on me or what-have-you. And I'm pretty sure it's the same thing with guys.
Not all girls are into hours-long cuddles. Seriously.
put a fluffy normal size pillow between ur arm and her neck. dampens the stress therefore its ok for both.
