Absolutely not. Do you know how much time and effort goes into making a proper mix CD? Any guy worth his weight in salt would probably labor over such a task ad nauseum. You've got to pick the right songs, get the sequencing right, and NOT to mention pick the right name for it.
That's a task ONLY worthy of a woman you actually give a shucks about. Chicks you don't care about you give a single red rose...assuming you're giving them anything.
A proper mix CD is the cornerstone of the emo guy's game in high school and POSSIBLY his freshman year in college. See it works in high school because chicks are just happy to get anything that shows you thought about them and like to have a song they can attach themselves to. Which is why it works freshman year in college.

As you get older you learn what women might actually like that kind of thing and then you plan accordingly, because once again, it's quite the task.
