Some guys do. I've heard songs that have reminded me of women in my life or times in my life full of romance, etc. Though usually those are love songs and not songs like, "Crank Dat" or anything by Hannah Montana.
It is totally possible for a guy to like a love song based on a woman in his life or a woman of his past life. But there are love songs that I like just because. For instance, nearly every Jackson 5 song I love not because of what it represents, but just because its good music. In fact, there are only a few love songs that I didn't think were that good but I liked because of the memory illicited due to its melodic composuring.
Man is that a jacked up word.
And no, I can't think of the songs right now that I was talking about.I'm pretty one of them involved Elton John though.
Using a love song is only passive if dude refuses to talk to you about something and will only tell you to listen to a song for the right way to hear his words. That is passive and frankly retarded. Then again, I wouldn't be surprised if more men and women didn't do that. Songwriters are good at their craft for a reason.
Anyway, love songs mean different things for different people. Hell, some guys thing Guns 'N Roses "Appetite for Destruction" is a love song. The best way to find it all out is to just ask him.
I think it depends on the guy. If they tend to relate to music in general then they are going to relate to love songs.
My ex told me that "Sometime After Midnight" by The Airborne Toxic Event always reminded him of me. And Sara McLachlan's "You want me 2" cause I loved how sad that song was and how it took on a different meaning when we started dating.
this guy told me his favorite song on this cd we had both just gotten and then another day went "i dont even know how the lyrics go, i normally dont pay attention to lyrics" when i brought up the song
..Randomly one day my boyfriend told me about this "amazing song I just heard that reminded me of you". It was Love Song by Voltaire. Made my day, it did.
It depends on the guy... I've had boyfriends who couldn't tell you what the lyrics to their 'favorite song' were... even though they had listened to it 2000 times.
Then I would have another boyfriend who would send me the title of a song in a text for me to look up because it reminded him of me... or if it were a cute love song because he knew i'd look it up and smile.
He is definitely in love with that girl at the moment. Guys usually do that when they are very much into someone. That girl is probably driving him crazy. You cannot really do anything about it just move on.
To be horribly honest that is always been my worry about a chap who in our 'Commitment phase' as I put it (which needed to be successful but was held back by issues but wish to reclaim).. I have always believed that WHEN YOU GET THE SONGS YOU GET THE MAN. Help help help.
I have to say that for the past couple of hours i have been hooked by the impressive articles on this website. Keep up the good work.
