Whoa now. The glut of jokes I make about men being more sexual than women is simply an established rule of relationship-focused comedians. It's never meant to imply that men are unfeeling machines incapable of love. That's only true like 40% of the time.
Men definitely fall in love. Chemically, romantically, financially, sexually, and everything in between. Men are often, but not always, more easily able to divorce sex from the idea of love, but that doesn't make the men who fall in love any less in love. We can love sex and love you too.
As for women's fantasies, I thought you all fantasized about stay-at-home dads who are also in a motorcycle gang. Men also don't go around shouting their love from the hills as much as they could, but it certainly happens...haven't you ever seen Say Anything?
If your man is all about "bros before hos" or unable to be genuine about his feelings, know that that's not something you're just supposed to accept, like farting or the occasional coke binge.
I know that men are capable of falling in love, but I can see why the poster would think otherwise. However, if I'm really honest with myself and really look at the men in my life with an unbiased eye, it almost seems like they fall in love faster than women do. I've listened to my guy friends gush on and on about some girl they've flipped for (trying not to yawn while they do so), but it touches my heart at the same time, even though some of those girls don't know they exist or don't feel the same. I know my brother really loves his wife; he positively adores her, and if it were a choice between his life and hers, he would choose hers every time. This is the same brother who I would play "Insult War" with. (The person with the best insult wins!)
I guess the only theory I have is that men feel they have to hide their emotions more (I blame western society!), and it stays that way for so long that some men think that the feelings aren't there. After all, cavemen didn't discuss their feelings while they were hunting the wooly mammoth. They buried everything deep and focused on what they had to do to put meat on the table. Now suddenly it's 2010, and everything's been flipped; women can put meat on the table too, and the testosterone club has to own to their feelings. That must be a hard place to be.
Of course, the Guyspeak Men (minus Mystery Man) are setting the bar so high that it's pretty unlikely I'll find anyone as great as they are. It's hard when the good ones lack self-confidence and give up before they even get started, and all that's left are the assholes who think they're the shit.

It is a problem for him to let it be known to his friends for they will tease him and tell him to grow some "cahones". Unfortunately, we live in a man's world and as a society it is unacceptable for a man to be monogamous and loving and kind to one woman. It is expected of a man to have a lot of women and score as much as possible for some reason this is acccording to a male dominated society "the thing that makes you a real man".
