Yep.
Oh, you wanted more?
Tough. It is a dumb question, brought on by your own sadness and lack of self respect. Everyone has the capacity for loving. Even complete sociopaths love themselves, as they are the center and focus of the universe and no one and nothing else matters.
Ouch
OP.. I hope you get your shot at love.
Kinda harsh? Geez. You'll find love as long as you keep looking.
That is an interesting thought. I don't know if a sociopath loves themselves. At least not the definition I use for love which would include kindness, compassion, tolerance, etc along those lines. A sociopath is not mentally healthy and self abosorbed but I don't think it is out of love, I think it is out of a desparation to quite internal demons.
I believe everyone has a shot of love. However, you need to becoming loving yourself. A favorite line in a song is, believe in love...give away what you want to receive.
All of us have a shot at love. Finding that special someone you belong with, when all of a sudden everything comes together and makes sense. Like this is the way it was meant to be.
Not only do I believe this, I believe this can happen more than once.
Am not a believer in staying in a relationship for the sake of being in one. Any relationship takes commitment and you both have to want it - if it's love, its never a problem to making it work.
Love, sure. Relationships, nah. I think there are people out there simply not meant to be in relationships, even though they may so badly want one.
I don't. I think there are lots of people out there too damaged or unlucky to get a shot at love. Aborted babies, kids that die of cancer, teen suicides, the mentally retarded, coma patients, people with brain defects making them incapable of feeling love, etc.
But that's ok; as Homer would say, there's nothing stopping you from living a long and pointless life! Think that sucks? Well, too bad, because in this life you're only likely to get and keep the things you're willing to assert that you deserve.
During any love relationship there are times when you wonder how can you be sure he loves you. I've heard many a woman say 'don't try to understand a man' but actually men are not so hard to understand if you realy wanna it!

Damn Myst…, a little cold hearted. Cut her some slack. I know I am capable of giving love, but I don’t think I have truly ever been loved. Maybe that's what she means.
Ultimately, we can not control or decide who, or when we fall in love...just make sure it is concrete and real...everybody falls in love at some point in their lives...you just got to go with it...
Also remember what Ru Paul says: If you can't love yourself, how the hell you gonna love someone else? Work on being happy with yourself first.
