This is the easiest question Mystery Man has ever fielded and sadly the answer comes straight from your grandpa, my grandpa, and every one's grandpa. It starts with "If you have to ask . . Not at all. My husband and I talked about getting married when I was 16 and he 17. We got engaged when I was 17 and married at 18. We've been married 3 years and have 1 son and another on the way. It depends on the people, if you feel ready then you probably are.

There is so much fun to be had before you get married, why put that pressure there? When you're 16, you barely know yourself, much less who you're going to be in seventy years. Give it some time, see how things work out, and save yourself the cost of a divorce lawyer.
