I realize I'm making a lot of assumptions here assuming that this question comes from a gay guy. I mean perhaps its a woman who wrote it and she meant that the guy is like her brother. In which case the entire dynamic changes and the possibilities seem more likely. However, I also cannot condone snaking a guy from another chick because I'm a firm believer in karma. The universe does not play. It will screw you in ways you weren't aware of.
Here's another question, why do you want to steal him from his girlfriend? It almost sounds like sport for you. You're not super close. Not intimate. You basically just want him despite not really knowing if you do. And here's another headscratcher, how can you be just like brothers but not be very close?
