I don't know if he's kidding or not. Does it matter? You've told him that it bothers you. That should be enough for him to shut his yap. That and the fact that you already lost tons of weight and he sounds like an ingrate to complain about a little tummy.
Cripes almighty, some guys are so effing stupid. Don't they realize that if they make you feel insecure about your body, you'll be reluctant to be naked with them? But that's not the main reason for him to stop teasing you. The main reason is that you've asked him to, and he's your boyfriend and loves you and wants to make you happy. Or so the theory goes.

Some people just have no clue. No one is perfect, he should be reminded of that. If this turns abusive, just walk away. By working on your body to lose that weight, you show that you love yourself enough to care about your looks. Good for you!

I think babygirl west has a good point about his comments pointing to his own insecurities. I've had that happen before. However, that DOES NOT make it okay for him to make jokes about your body, especially after you've worked so hard! He needs to show you some love or you should find someone else that will!

One question.. is he an Adonis god with a perfect body ? I would also question his motives for making remarks even in jest.. that signals to me that He is the one that is insecure and perhaps jealous of your hard work and results ! My Ex used to tell me I was fat, I wasn't his type, that he wasn't attracted to me. Well thats why he is an Ex but to this day, tries to get me back.

Congrats on losing so much weight! I'm sure you look great. If he won't appreciate your body for how beautiful it is at any weight, you need to ditch him fast. Imagine the kind of hurtful things he might say to you when you're pregnant -- or after, when you're struggling to lose the baby weight and have stretch marks? You don't need that! There are plenty of nice, supportive men out there. Go find one and kick this insecure jerk to the curb!
