The "Asians in the library" blonde? She dug her own grave. Why put that sort of thing online? Of course people are going to be offended. (Here's the racist rant she posted on YouTube if you haven't seen it.)
It seems she dropped out of UCLA after the video went viral. It's a testament to the power of the Internet these days that something like that could get so big. I almost feel sorry for her, since I'm sure she regrets saying that stuff now. But, really, why even film it and put it online in the first place? How arrogant do you have to be to think that people are going to care about your offensive opinions? And targeting Asians is just wrong. If she had posted a video saying, "I really hate when people are loud on their cellphones when you're trying to work in the library," she'd have tons of supportive comments. We all hate loud cellphone talkers. But to single out an entire race and then do an impression of Asians that is straight out of a dated Charlie Chan movie from the 1930s? I think fellow viral video star Antoine Dodson said it best: You are so dumb, Alexandra Wallace. You are so dumb.
People were saying they were surprised that someone from California would be so awful since it's such a progressive, inclusive place. But there are dumb people everywhere. You can't stereotype a location or the people who live there.
On a semi-related topic, Rebecca Black's "Friday" video is up to over 95,000,000 views and counting. I don't want this weekend (or Rebecca Black) to end.

I loved David So's reply to the her video. DO watch his video! Its hilarious.
I’m actually kind of sad for the girl. She lives in a very small world to think what she said, is expectable behavior. It’s very disheartening to hear racism is something we have to deal with. Damn…
Do you really like that awful Friday song? Or is it some kind of rye humor thing that zipped right over my little ole noggin??
Wry even... it's 4am, forgive me
I'm pregnant too so the "Rye" thing could be a craving... a Ruben is sounding really good, light on the crout!
