I wouldn't go to the extreme of breaking up with him, cuz that could back-fire on you. Just get busy on him... pick up some extra hours at work, oin a gym class, start hanging out with your friends more, join a book club, cooking class or whatever. Let's say you have a standing date every week, cancel on his ass. Tell him its because of your job or new hobby or whatever. If you stop making yourself so available to him, then eventually he will be begging you to spend time with him.

It is true. If your boyfriend wants to spend time with you, nothing will stand in the way of that. In my misguided youth I would try all sorts of crazy antics to get my boyfriend/fiance to spend time with me and wasn't happening. I couldn't even compete with the tv. Never again!!! Find someone who actually WANTS to spend time with you. 3 years later, I am STILL shocked when someone does. It's been a huge thing to get over!
