Asking a guy out is identical to how it's done when a guy asks you out. The only difference is YOU'RE doing it.There is no special sequence of words or body poses you need to strike in order to ask a dude out successfully. But perhaps in reality you're question is, "why do I feel like I can't ask a guy out?" Possible reasons for that: insecurity, overwhelmed by social norms, you have no tongue.
But please know, its 2010, it's like, the future, Dude! You can ask a guy out if you want to. He will be quite pleased and charmed if you take the reins on setting up Date 1. You see, if a guy is keen on going out with you, it matters not how you do it. You can do it by text, email or skywriting. You can do it on IM or face to face. Hell, you can send a dead rat to his house with a note sticking out of its mouth written in pigs blood that reads: You, Me, O'Malley's tavern tonight at 9pm? And if he is attracted to you, and likes your vibe, you'll get the thumbs up.
So don't over complicate. Take a deep breath, go buy a pig and ask away.

if he's keen/attracted to you wouldn't he ask YOU out??? Isnt it a bad sign that he hasn't asked you out... like hes just not that into you? I dont have a problem with asking guys out, but only guys I just met... cause I figure the ones that I know would have asked me out by the time we got to know each other if they wanted me. What do you think ladies?
For the most part I would agree but there may be some situations that would be exempt from this...
He probably hasn't asked you for the same reason you haven't asked him... he isn't sure if you like him yet. Or maybe he's not that into you. Either way, guys get rejected all the time. It's time girls got their fair share.
