Have you been to the beach lately? Nobody else seems to care how they look, so why should you? I've seen old guys with moobs in Speedos, overweight women in bikinis, men with huge beer guts, people leaving far too little to the imagination, and so on. And you know what? Good for them. They wear what makes them happy. If it grosses anyone out, who cares? Not them.
At any beach or pool you'll always see more unfit people than fit. Most just look like normal people to me. I don't think too many of us sit around thinking, "Oh, she really shouldn't be wearing that." Even if they are, what do you care? Do you know these people? Will you ever see them again? Nope. So f**k 'em!
There are no set rules or guidelines. Wear what makes you comfortable. If you feel like people are staring and it makes you uneasy, then wear a one-piece or tankini or burlap bag. If you want to wear a bikini, do it, and proudly. You're not out there for them, you're out there for you. To have fun. You won't have fun as long as you care so much what other people think.

That's tricky to set a weight. Cause 150 would probably to big on a 5 ft tall woman and a 6 ft tall woman could probably get away with it at lite heavier.
"Too big" is subjective, not objective. What may be "too big" in your opinion may be just fine in someone else's.
I think you should not be allowed on the beach in any clothing whatsoever. Keep your judgmental ass at home.

I say, wear what the hell you like! Peronally, I've always preferred a one piece to a bikini, but to each their own.
ya whatever. i dont know who this guy is, but i live right by the beach. and EVERYTIME i go, i stare at gross people in barely there bikinis/speedos that clearly need to cover up and laugh at them with my friends. this is true.
he might try to sugar coat it but you dont look good. save yourself some embarrassment and wear a suit that fits your body type. not everyone is a size 4. thats fine! thats why they make clothing that fits every body type! im not perfect but i wear clothes that are perfect for me. i feel more confident and look better when i do.

They may not like you in a bikini, but you like you in a bikini. To me that is all to it. I DO live next to the beach and I see heavy girls wearing them with confidence and iam middle sized myself, and I wear one everytime, people stare but I go there to have fun and if I lived on other people's judge ments I would be like the dumbass above my post. I am 5'8" and I weigh about 150, but according to my heigh to weight ratio, I'm on the thinner end of average.
Not to mention the fact that "weight" doesn't nessicarily mean anything. A woman could have a flat stomach but DD chest and a big butt and weigh over 150 lbs and i'm sure that if you saw her on the beach in a bikini, you wouldn't be complaining.
