I think it really depends on each relationship. My Ex of 5 years, never even brought me home which should have been a red flag ! but my current boyfriend introduced me to his parents after 4 months and partly because a holiday occurred and he wanted to include me. Turns out I'm the first woman he has brought home for holidays w the parents so I felt honored and like the relationship is going in a good direction. I never forced the meetings at all, just let him do it its own natural timing and way.

he works at a car dealership (IT guy- he's a sexy geek!) and when I took my car in for an oil change, my guy told me to say hi to his father-in-law if I saw him (his ex-wifes father, whom he's still on friendly terms with - who works in the service dept) he even described him to me so that I'd recognize him if I saw him...
