I think the better question is are you for real? Do you really want to take on the job of dating a man with a 4-year old daughter? His life and priorities are in such a different place (assuming he's an actual father and supporter to his daughter) than you are at nineteen. While I know that women can be very mature for their ages, you are in two totally different worlds right now.
With that said, I'm guessing his goal is the booty. No dis to your age or anything but I can't imagine a 19-year-old really bringing that much to my life. I'm older of course but at age 26, there wasn't much a youngster like yourself could do for me aside from play naked games. And even then it felt like I was only doing it because it was easy. Now it's possible that you are the most mature 19-year-old in history or you two come from a place where Jerry Spring reigns supreme and every time Maury says "you are not the father" somebody in your town gets a job. But mostly, I think he might be out for the lovin'. Shucks, I can't imagine dating a 22-year-old at this point and she might have a college degree.
Anyway, I think that there's a remote chance that you might be able to have a meaningful relationship with him but I wouldn't be surprised if at the end of the day, he was more about your goodies than what you bring to the table.

just because you think your mature enough which im suree you are.. its not a reason to go for it. its just someone elses issues you have to deal with.
Age is just a number but you're better off asking what he's looking for. If he's any kind of decent human he'll say what he wants...it may be in code but I'm sure you can decipher it. If he's looking just for sex, you'll know. Besides do you want to date someone who is 7 yrs older than you. Age differences can mean it's hard to relate to someone.
I was 19 and dated someone 13 yrs older than me for 6 yrs, he also had two daughters. I was very mature for my age and got mistaken for 26-27yrs old all the time. I lived on my own, had a professional job, paid all my bills, and was emotionally/psychologically sound. You guys could just be attracted to each other on every other level that age takes on very little meaning after that. While this may not be the case for every May/December romance it is for a lot of them.
i was 18 and in high school, he was 26 our lives were in two different roads. just imagine the mentality of a high school girl and a man at his mid tweenties, its totally different. plus the lifestyle its different too.
