Cute is the default description for anyone or anything guys want to protect. So check your behaviour around them. Kicking off a guys protective instincts may well make you safe anywhere in the world, including Detroit, but it isn't going to help you get a guy. Try for a bit more vamp, a bit less little girlie. I'm 26 and people are always saying i look around 17/18 which I dont mind so much if they are my friends or like my family or whatever but when you are pigeonholed in the CUTE pile by the men you like it can be very frustrating. Sometimes when someone calls me cute i wish they could hear what I am actually thinking about them in my head ...which isn't at all cute!! When I was 22 I did actually break up with someone that called me cute alot... on the grounds that he called me cute ALOT. I couldn't bear listening to him going "oooh your soo small your soo cute BLA BLA BLA" when I don't even find myself cute, it made me cringe!!! I find myself being a bit cool and sometimes dark with people to throw them off the 'cute' image and I definitely agree with the vamp thing!!!
I get called cute all the time. My guy friends do like to protect me but it doesnt mean im so cute that im a pushover or am not sexually attractive. They just tend to refer that im more the long relationship type than the short excursion. I never have trouble with guys but I also use it to my advantage. Naturally I put off a cute vibe but I also know how to spice it up from time to time. And it drives my boyfriend absolutely crazy when I do. Cutie in the street, sex kitten in the bed. Sometimes he calls me cute, but also sexy or sometime I just come across as hot which he cant get over how I can transfer back and forth. :)

I have the body of a Victoria Secret supermodel, and I ALWAYS get called cute, more than anything else, even by strangers on the street. I have an innocent vibe about me I guess....People have compared me to 'Mandy Moore"...etc.

I get called cute alot which usually comes before or after awwhs! I don't hate it I just don't really get it. For me i usually associate cute with kids or puppies so at first it was abit frustrating to be called that and not really get what they mean. But now I've reached the point where when i get called cute, it's usually followed with me saying 'shut up u bitch' haha!
Tbh, i think the associations falls with personality and behaviour. Also maybe height is a factor, I am also 5'2 and can be a cluts. The other day i had an interview and somehow got my stupid name sticker stuck in my hair. I got the entire group laughing because i was sitting there trying to tackle this sticker out without losing so many strands of hair and it just had to be when I was called up to introduce myself. Hmm it was a interesting introduction but i didn't get the job lol.
