I broke up with my boyfriend, and after a few weeks of having little to no contact I messaged him asking if we could be friends. His response was cold saying he was in a different page and he couldn't be my friend because "feeling would get in the way," what is that suppose to mean?

So, wait, you broke up with him, he doesn't want to talk to you, and you're wondering why he's upset?
No offense, but this is not difficult math to do. You broke up with him. He's hurt. He doesn't want to talk to you. He may never want to. Leave him alone and move on.
