I don't want sex until I'm married. Why do guys always ask "you still do other stuff, right"? Upon telling them no, this makes them really uneasy, and they never talk to me again. Will I ever find a guy who doesn't want to do ANYTHING until I'm married, yet isn't a fundie Christian?

Sure you can find a guy like that. You just have to know where to look, which is why the Internet so totally rocks.

Let's be real, you are largely going to find men out and about who want sex. We just do. It's what we want. Men = sex. However, there are those guys out there who are willing and wanting to wait just like you.

The problem is that you can't tell somebody's characteristics just by looking at them. So you have to dig deep. Well if you find some waiting for sex website, you can filter through straight to the type of guys you want and then it becomes about the same stuff the rest of us are trying to sift through: who they are as people, etc.

So that's my suggestion: get thee to the Internet.

If you're not totally against dating a Christian who isn't a fundie, you can try looking for guys that are Lutheran. They're like Catholics, but they do a lot less rule-breaking and judging IMO. They also allow female pastors, gay marriage and they're just the nicest and kindest people you'll meet. Tons of guys in my former church, all musicians and all really single and attractive and mostly lonely. I'm just saying, I snagged my guy that way and he's definitely not a fundie. The best part is we're on the same page about a lot of things, specifically sex before marriage.

But if you're not a Christian and/or would never want to date one, then don't bother. Most of those guys will not start a relationship with you unless you are "one of them" or willing to convert, sadly.

Lol, as someone raised Catholic, some of us used to refer to Lutherans as one of the "Catholic-lite" religions. The services and traditions are similar but y'all aren't as crazy. Don't get me wrong, I love being raised catholic, the history and stuff really means something to me. But you're right, most Catholics either break all the rules, or judges everyone who breaks the rules...som do both, and they cause all kinds of problems.
