I feel like my boyfriend thinks that there are magic phrases that fix everything. Like when he verbal vomited "where did you get that whiny bitch voice? I've never heard you use it before", realized what he said and then said "love youuuu....." Why does he do this, as opposed to apologizing?

Because he's immature, a little bit misogynist, and probably a little afraid of conflict.
To stop this, you need to call him out on it. Especially if he tries the whole "I didn't mean it!" tack; yeah, he did, he's just worried he won't get laid now. Make him be honest and demand an apology; that way you'll see his true colors.
My ex tried that crap with me, and do you know where he got it? Family Guy. Now, I love that show, but it is not a place to get relationship advice. If I were you, I'd see if he's picking stuff up from shows like that, and then let him know your relationship is not a cartoon and that crap doesn't fly in the real world.
Louis CK actually had a skit in his show about this - the typical male driven sitcom involves an overweight comedy guy married to a much more attractive woman who constantly does douchebag crap and gets away with it because it's all in love.
It's more than family guy, it's King of Queens and almost every other show like that.
True. It's just that Family Guy was my ex's favorite show. He picked up so much stupid stuff from it. He thought it was cute when he pulled that crap. He'd say something mean, like call me a walrus and bark at me (yes, he really did), then poke me and say like some 12 year-old "Love yewww."
I think that men who do that think it's just cute and if their girl finds it cute, they're off the hook. Main thing is to just tell them you don't find it cute, and they need to cut it out.
And they say media DOESN'T influence society lol.
