You seriously asking or just bragging here?
If either of you is already in a relationship, enjoy your friendship in peace and without worry. It is perfectly possible to love, or have feelings for, a friend without ever doing anything about it. Just as it is possible, and quite normal, to love more than one person at a time.
If you are both single, what in Gods name are you waiting for?! A gilded invitation from the president? Him to get his white horse back from the cleaners? Get off your backside and actually do something about it. Stop faffing around. Remember - if you never take risks, you never get anything really worth while in life.
Show him you are interested in something more than friends. As you see him at church, I'd suggest something decorous and subtle - grab him and give him an all out kiss maybe. Only a hint of tongue though, you don't want to give the wrong impression.
And if it is the age gap that bothers you - ignore it. You are 20. Twenty years difference would be a bit creepy. Ten years doesn't mean that much at all.
You should be the resident funny guy...just saying!
