i think it was a line from Friends or something that goes "you dont dip your pen in the company ink". sort of a rule i live by now. it's just opening a can of really awkward complicated worms, especially in this day and age where jobs are a scarce commodity. i wouldn't even want to work with a guy i was engaged to or married to, i know a lot of couples can handle it well, but i know a lot of couples that dont last because of it either. there are way more men in the world beyond the company picnic.
