Dumb? Yes. You're totally right, in everything you told them. But it's also easy to fall for words and ideas. I won't say I didn't have a bit of a crush on Neil Gaiman after reading American Gods, it was silly, but far too easy to fall for the brain behind the words. And I doubt this persons crush is much different, and it probably doesn't interfere with their prospects of finding a real mate. It didn't hurt me any, I've fallen for a real man I can touch and smell, even if I still get a little too into Gaiman's books.

A crush is someone you look forward to that is beyond your reach. Harmless...
