The serious answer is that there are more funny men in history ( comedians, playwrights, stand-ups, writers etc.) than women is because comedy is essentially very aggressive and men are more aggressive than women. That said, there are a myriad of examples of VERY funny women from way back when until now. I could make an enormous list for you if you want. And, re Fox News: Ann Coulter is a helluva lot more funny than Rachel Maddow in my humble opinion. Why don't you watch Fox? You may enjoy a few laughs!
