Granted, I don't know about various customs across the world and am fairly ignorant about many cultures in general, but just taking what you've said sounds to me like your beau is probably in a situation that isn't easy to get out of...even if he wanted to. Which it kind of doesn't sound like he does. In fact, it almost reminds me of situations where a man is "planning" on divorcing his wife and keeps telling his mistress that he needs more time when the truth is, he is just buying time to figure out how he's going to dump the mistress.
I'm sure he loves you and cares for you but he's got a child on the way AND got married to a woman. While I'm sure in your mind you believe that at some point he'll...discard (?) them and come to you, how likely is that to happen. And if he did, would you want to be with a man who abandoned his family to be with you?
So, no. Move on. Remember what you had and realize it's not going to come to fruition. If in some way years down the line it can then great. But right now...that ship has sailed.

First, its irrelevant that the woman is ethopian. You are showing your own biases and implying that you are somehow better than ethopian women. And just for the sake of being an asshole I'm going to burst your bubble by saying, "clearly you can't be better than her because she is THE WIFE of the man you are in love with and you are not."
Second, let's be serious. You were the other woman. OR if you insist on being the main chick, then he cheated on you. Either way, you look pretty foolish pining away for a man that is starting a family before your very eyes. You just said that having babies out of wedlock is a big deal over there, you don't think this ethiopian doesn't know that too? If he didn't want to be with her, then he wouldn't have married her. He's probably been married to her the whole time.

Wow. What a hateful answer! Just because you think the OP is prejudiced - when she was merely stating what she knew. Her boyfriend told her he was marrying an Ethiopian woman. That's relevant especially if that country outlaws unwed mothers which is what he is claiming.
However did you read in the OP's post that she thinks she is better than Ethiopian women. I see someone who is innocent who was betrayed by the man she loves who is contacting HER while he is married and expecting a child with another woman.
I agree, stating that the pregnant woman is Ethiopian is relevant because of the strict laws there. There are kinder ways to tell someone that they need to move on, and you should never say to anyone that someone is BETTER THAN YOU! It's bad enough that the OP is heart-broken; to have an a-hole like you, NuNu, telling her that she isn't good enough for this man is vicious and degrading. What a way to kick someone while they're down. Have you not learned anything from the wonderful guys here at Guyspeak? They never insult or belittle anyone, and always encourage people to treat others with respect.
Its not relevant because the country they live in is Kuwait. I highly doubt the guy was commuting back-and-forth from Kuwait to Ethipoia. And if he was there was a reason, such as I don't know, she's been his wife all along. Its like saying, my boyfriend got a fat girl pregnant and married her, it doesn't matter if she's fat. Stating that she is fat implies that I think I am better than fat women. Maybe that's not the way she meant it, who knows. That's how I read it and I respomded accordingly. Just like you two read it and got all sentimental.
I will be an asshole. Just like I would want an asshole to tell me how stupid I looked in a similar situation. All too often females want to sugar-coat and look for silver linings. That's why we stay getting our feelings hurt.
I thought the guy and his expectant wife lived in Ethiopia but wherever they reside, we probably all agree the question asker needs to forget her boyfriend because he is someone else's husband now. And she should not take any more calls from him.
The reason she stated it was because its eyebrow raising for a man to have an affair with an ethiopian immigrant. I won't sugar coat it for you because I know you like the truth- OPEN YOU EYES - however much we wish it weren't the case not everyone is treated equally in this world and there are race issues and social stigmas more present in certain parts of the world. It is the western equivalent of the man who has an affair with the immigrant maid. And yea she probably is better than the woman who stole her man and got pregnant with him.
