Wow, your question was like reading one of those mystery books for kids in middle school, where at the end you turn it upside-down and it says "Mr. Crowley used dry ice to create a cloud of smoke, then projected the ghost onto it!" Except your mystery novel is much shorter, the answer isn't upside-down, and it involves you having a threesome with this dude and his wife.
What he was trying to say, in the most poetic and meaningful-sounding way possible, was that he wouldn't mind getting freaky with you in a sand trap one of these days. The fact that we can't just say things like that straight off is one of my least favorite aspects of society, and what's causing you such confusion.
Plainly put, he's gotten a little ex-itis, his wife is either genuinely into the swinging lifestyle or isn't and he's a lying sleazeball (which you should certainly verify if you're actually thinking of letting his putter near your green, so to speak), and he's letting you know that hey, tag, you're it.
In my opinion, this guy's probably just "putting it out there," hoping maybe one day down the line his innocuous flirting will culminate in a filthy tryst or three with you and his missus. So yeah, that's what he meant. Hot swinger sex. Where you go from here is entirely up to you.
Just remember, if you decide to go through with it, bring your own caddie. Ball-washer optional.
Im still confused.
I think something is wrong with the site - for a while now I haven't seen most of the questions you answer on the main answers page - they just don't seem to show up there, even after I've refreshed the page and everything. I have to go search them out separately if I want to read them which can be kinda a pain to do. And judging by the lack of comments on your (often well thought out & funny) answers I daresay I'm not the only one who can't see your answers on the main page.
I think you're relying way too much on her description of the events- He "followed her around" and then when they were "chatting privately" and he said something that could mean literally anything, and then a third party tells her that he and his wife are swingers. What he said to her might have had nothing to do with that. For that matter, they might not even actually be swingers.
when is doubt verify!
1, 2, 3, 4, 5th time they are swingers!
