I want my guy friend who I am falling for (and he shows signs likes me more than a friend to) to know I like him but am afraid to say it. So next time we hug I want to massage or rub his back and then kiss his cheek. Will he get the hint? and am I crossing the line? What should I do?

Look, you can dance around the issue and drop subtle hints all you want. He's not going to get it. If you are honest with him about how you feel, then you have a much better chance of actually getting what you want. Either he likes you or he doesn't, but either way, you won't have to pine anymore.

take it from someone who has tried that approach it doesn't work. Even the things that seem SO OBVIOUS to us just doesn't compute with most guys. It's better to tell him (even though I know how hard that is, it's easier said than done) but it really is the way to go. The not-so-subtle hints just end up torturing you because you think its o-so-obvious and he must not like me because otherwise he'd act on this and he's over there with no idea.
