There are three possible reasons why this happened to you:
1) It means you have gone so far beyond sexual interest to your ex that he now considers you closer to a sister than a lover. This happens to the best of them.
2) He finds you sloppy and disgusting when you get drunk, which is possibly why he broke up with you in the first place. He did break up with you, yes?
3) Bad breath or a really big cold sore.
All of the above suggest that he's probably not too interested anymore. He could probably get over 2 and 3, but definitely not 1.
There also may be more reasons. What do our Guyspeak readers think?
maybe he's wary of it. kissing strangers is no biggie. kissing exes generally is a big deal for atleast one of the exes. it might not mean he no longer finds you attractive, just that he doesn't want to give you hope that you might get back together again.
or maybe it's because he's trying to not be a douche and thinks kissing you when you're drunk would be taking advantage.
Kissing an ex is a little like poking a sleeping bear with a stick. It might seem like a fun at the time, but the chances of being mauled by consequence is very real.
There are only 2 outcomes of kissing an ex:
1- getting back together.
2- bonus night.
Most of the time, people do not want n°1, and you have to be sure the other is not expecting anything more when you want n°2. And it's hard to know what a drunk gal wants.
Also, kissing drunk people? Not fun if you are sober...
The only way to find out if MM is right, or if your ex was just being a gentleman like Lana suggested (they still exist, right?) is probably to ask him why he didn't kiss you. At least you'll know where he stands.

Oh honey, trying to kiss an ex-boyfriend while drunk is not surprising but him not wanting to kiss you back is probably because he knows that
A: you're drunk, making decisions you probably don't mean
B: you might not remember
C: it's probably not worth it.
And he also might not want to get his hopes up or might be over you!
And it's probably a good thing that he didn't kiss you or it might've caused some problems.

He might just not like seeing you in that state.
He could possibly just feel weird that your coming onto him while your drunk but not when your sober. (that gives him mixed signals)
talk to him sober about how he feels towards you.
