Yeah, that's not cool. Why doesn't he want you to go? The whole point of a class reunion is to show your former classmates that you aren't a lumpy, single loser. He should be proud to show you off to everyone.
If you were just dating, I could maybe understand not bringing you since you'd be bored and it might make you feel like things are getting serious too fast. But you're his wife, and have presumably been hearing about the biology lab partner he hated, or the crazy coach who used to peg him with dodge balls during gym class for some time. Wouldn't he want you there to make the reunion less painful?
Asking about the marital status of a former classmate also seems sketchy. Why is he so interested? Asking once to find out what his old classmate is up to is one thing, but he seems unreasonably excited for this reunion.
It's pretty disrespectful to not include you. Tell him that you're hurt that he doesn't want you to come along. Even if he isn't looking to cheat, he is still looking for a reason to get away from you and relive his single days with his old pals. Of course, he's going to find that everyone else will have brought their significant others, so he'll be the odd-man-out who showed up solo. Everyone will gossip (just like in high school) and wonder why he didn't bring his wife. Then he'll get drunk, act like an ass and give everyone something to talk about at the next reunion.

Awesome answer, Nick!
Once again, I am dumbfounded at how inconsiderate the asker's partner is. Maybe she should confront him about being so interested in that old classmate's marital status? I don't know, this guy pisses me off. So rude.
what an enlightenment.. I must searching for another great escape and reasonable method for my girl :LOL..

How rude! She's his wife, for pete's sake! It's not like she's his weekend fwb. But even if she was, she deserves more respect than that. She's a human being, too! She doesn't deserve to be treated so crassly.
I don't know, it sounds like he's trying to poke his...nose...where it's no cause to go.
