The answer to all of your questions is that you're 14. That and pornography is not a good guide to human sexuality. Really, you shouldn't be having sex, as neither of you are emotionally ready (and never, ever push your girlfriend for sex). Nor will I explain the mechanics to you since there's probably a professional at your high school paid more than me to do it and I don't want to be visited by Chris Matthews.
But about the penis thing...again, you're fourteen. Your body is still growing, and that includes your penis. Besides, you're already average. More than average, if by "wide" you mean actual width and not circumference. Look it up: the average male penis is 5 to 6 inches long. Which is good because the average vagina is 5 to 6 inches long.
Huge penises are the domain of porn, because porn is about fantasy. In reality, it's substantially different.
Width is more important than length little man, but no sex for you till you grow up a bit more. Just because you have a penis doesn't mean you're ready to put it to that particular use. Get to know yourself better and get comfortable and confident with yourself (as well as a few years older) being happier and more confident in yourself will make sex better when you are ready.
