If by self-injury you mean injuring yourself for pleasure (?) then, yes. For most guys I'm guessing that would be a major major turnoff. I'm turned off by it right now and I'm not even completely sure what you're talking about.
I think there's a pretty simple rule of thumb when it comes to men and deal breakers: if it involves non-sensual pain and the possibility of blood, then the majority of guys would pass. Of course, you have your S&M crowd out there who can always find a good reason to break out the chains, whips, and other associated-with-slavery apparel. And if that's your bag, baby, then hey, do you. I'd guess that you would need to find those individuals though because if you and I went out on a date and you decided to stab yourself with a rusty spoon because you couldn't resist the urge, I'd be out of there faster than you could say "ouch, that hurts so good!"
The main point is that you need to find out with any particular guy you're dating. Some guys are into butterflies and Disney films, others are into self-injury and like to slam their heads into mirrors. Hakuna matata!

I'm hoping this girl means that she's klutzy and runs into things a lot, not that she's cutting herself with razor blades.
Unfortunately, I think its the latter. A quick side note though: it seems guys are really attracted to girls with injuries. When I hurt my foot I swear I got hit on so much more. Everywhere I went guys were opening doors and striking up conversation. I think they have a tendency to want to protect women, and looking especially vulnerable brings that out? ? IDK, it could be just a gateway to conversation that they didnt have before so I became easier to talk to.
I hope the OP, if she is cutting herself, gets some therapy. Even if a guy would date someone who did that, it would still be a problem/issue.
What a lovely day for a 651638! SCK was here
The Zune concentrates on being a Portable Media Player. Not a web browser. Not a game machine. Maybe in the future it'll do even better in those areas, but for now it's a fantastic way to organize and listen to your music and videos, and is without peer in that regard. The iPod's strengths are its web browsing and apps. If those sound more compelling, perhaps it is your best choice.
