My current lady is special. Important in ways I hadn't even imagined a woman could be when I was younger and far more stupid and self centered. Sort of the opposite of me, in terms of skills, talents and interests, but with the same levels of competence and "F*ck it, let's do this sh*t" attitude. We fit together like the yin and yang symbol. Yes, I am lucky.
My various ex's are special. I am not one of those guys who can hook up without some form of connection - there has to be some emotion other than lust involved. We are all, for the most part, still good friends. Keep in touch. I have been best man or given away the bride a few times. All good fun.
But the truly special lady in my life, the one I would (and do) drop everything for, would happily die for or kill for - well, she'll not be reading this. She can't. She still gets stuck on Cat. Maybe next year, when she starts school.
Meh, enough of this soppy stuff.
