I've always heard it said that guys like a girl with some curves, not stick-thin. However, there's a new girl at work who has a decent face but is literally skin and bones, yet all the guys are falling over themselves to ask her out. Do guys really dig the anorexic-looking models we see in magazines?

You answered your own question.
She is new. New is always exciting.
They can get away with using the same tired lines and jokes you have heard a thousand times before. She does not yet know that Tom has wandering hands, Tim is a serial luster and Terry is about as interesting as a bucket of cement.
Body shape is pretty much irrelevent in this case.
yep, what he said.
It doesn't matter if a girl is skinny or curvy - if she's hot she's hot. Stop hatin'.
Would the asker be called out for using words like "skin and bones" or "anorexic" like one would be for "fat" or "whale"? How rude.
"A person's a person, no matter how small." Or big or normal.
We really ain't gonna talk about body image here - OK?
Ha, this is sooo true! I flirted with a guy in my office for a couple years, we casually started seeing each other. Then a new girl comes along (who's foreign btw) and all of a sudden it's like I don't exist anymore. They are dating now. New girl wins. :(
Until her I was sorta "the hot girl" so maybe I'm a little jealous, I won't lie lol. But whatever, I'm doing my thing, she can do hers, good for her.
You just clarified what I already knew. Thanks MM!
