I don't know, I'm kind of lost.
So he took you to his place once. You've seen it. You know it exists. You've been inside. And you think he's hiding something from you because you haven't been back there? Frankly, if I were him I might do the same. What happens if you come over and he's not ready for the overnight stay but things get late. I mean, NOBODY is heading ALL the way back to Long Island after say 10pm. Not from Jersey.
Now I suppose if you had been dating longer and he never wanted you to see his place, okay. But you've been there. If there was something to hide, he never would have taken you there in the first place. Trust me.
All you can really do is let him know that you are wondernig why he never invites you to his place. Let him give you a reason. Hopefully its a good one. Maybe it's just the distance thing. How often does he come to your place? Do you all just meet in Manhattan?
Point is, I dont know if you have any red flags...just yet. But ask him.
