No. Give him a card and write in it, "I will get you a Christmas gift but I am waiting for a more romantic moment."

Like the kind of romantic moment that happens after he takes you out on a real date instead of just porking you or whatever you mean by "seeing this guy" without having had any dates.

I would ask him - If he thinks the relationship is serious enough he will want to exchange (even something small like make him cookies with a card - nothing over the top but very simple)
