In another ten months he'll add "FRIEND"?
Sometimes men and women obsess about titles, and not enough on actions. If he's monogamous with you, if he buys you flowers and whispers sweet things, and acts like a boyfriend, then what does it matter what he calls you? This preferable to a dude who throws "girlfriend" and "love" around, but doesn't live up to those words.
My dad always taught me that titles are free at work. That a promotion isn't really a promotion unless there's money behind it. It costs the company nothing to add a "senior" or "director" to a title. In a relationship, the money is whether or not the other person treats you with respect and love.
Does he?
That said, I know this must be annoying. Because it suggests a guy who is wishy-washy. Indecisive people drive me up the wall. But you have to ask yourself what is it that you want at this moment. I mean, it's totally fine to want to be called a girlfriend and be in a healthy relationship. If he can't give you that, then you have some thinking to do.
what does d/45 mean?
my guess is divorced and 45???? But given that this lady keeps using all these little acronym short cut things, maybe her man means "girlfriend' when he says girl??? Lol maybe they are a match in word shortening heaven.
My first thought was he was using it as in "this is my girl" or "Hey girl, let's go do something". Which to some men means girlfriend, end of story. No wishy-washy at all.
But obviously that's not the vibe she's getting, so time to sit down and have a nice clearing the air pow-wow!
File this under the "ask him" category!
Or it means he can't remember her name.....
