What?? Check his pulse. Is he alive? I have never met a guy who doesn't like The Big Lebowski. (Did you see the photos from the recent cast reunion?) It's one of those movies that you can use to test whether someone has your same sense of humor.
Here are some other movies that pretty much every guy likes. If he isn't a fan of at least one of these cinematic classics, he's probably an evil robot sent from the future to destroy mankind. Add your "movies every guy" loves in the comments. Let's create a "guy" movie master list! (Note: I'm not saying all of these are "guy movies." I'm just saying these are movies guys love.)

That's just whack, plain and simple.
Every guy I know has always loved "Big Trouble in Little China."
And apparently, according to this list, my husband and I were hipsters before there was such a thing as hipsters. But we don't dress or act like douches.
That's great. Can't believe I forgot that. Pretty much every Kurt Russell movie applies. Well, except "Overboard."
Wow Nick. Love that list. Don't know that you missed ANY!
The Dude Abides.
You just listed most of my favourite films ^_^
And I think the only one my feller doesn't care for that I do is Anchorman. I've told him he must be watching it wrong.
(And would you really call Chasing Amy one of the good Kevin Smith films? Maybe it's because I'm quite heavily ingrained into the LGBTQ subculture, but I found it patronising and badly written.)
Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind we both found to be really tedious. Just because you forgot the problems you had, doesn't mean they'll not be there any more. But then I'm not one for romances, even if they've got some hack scifi logic shoved in there for emphasis.
did I not see Airplane! ?
It's on there. Surely you can't think I would forget that one.
I love a lot of those movies, particularly Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind and Monty Python and the Holy Grail, but the cinephile side of me was definitely thanks to my father, so that explains all of my favorite movies except The Room, I'm Not There, musicals, and obvious classics. However, I'm from Fargo, so I love Fargo more than any other Coen Brothers film. I also prefer O Brother, Where Art Thou? to The Big Lebowski... I'm not really sure why; it just kind of appeals to me. :)
Dumb and Dumber.
Every guy I know.
This is truly a definitive list. You rock.
Yes. My boyfriend didn't like the Dude either!? :/
My boyfriend didn't like Fight Club. :(
