This isn't a dealbreaker per se, but it should definitely give you pause. Let's start at the top with this one. Though I have no clue how old she is, Sandra Bullock is hot. So even if he can't stand her, he should at least be able to recognize her attractiveness. If you like watching her movies, you're giving him a free pass to ogle a beautiful women for at least an hour and a half at a pop. If anything, he's failing to see the silver lining here. If I were him, I'd try to get you start watching any movie with Jessica Biel in it.

Basically, any movie with Sandra Bullock is a win-win for all parties involved. You get to watch your possibly terrible movie in peace and he gets to watch her on screen, and yet he won't see any of them? That sounds kind of selfish to me.

Then there's this other problem; I think he's shortsighted and I'm not sure how that bodes well for your relationship. My guess is he assumes Sandra Bullock is in chick flicks. Okay, on the surface I understand the dismay, however, nearly all chick flicks come with a hot chick lead role. That's standard Hollywood fare. He should be encouraging more of this with you because it gives you all the opportunity to spend quality time while he looks like the guy who wants to please his woman, even if his sole goal is to look at hot chicks while you cry over some repetitive story line with some English guy.

So is it a dealbreaker? No. However, you should evaluate how much this guy is willing to give up in this relationship. If something as simple as looking at Sandra Bullock is where he draws the line today, what's he got in store for tomorrow?
