You basically have two options: you can wait for him to drop a hint of some kind, or you to get sent on the same erotically-themed industry convention, or any number of other improbable happenstances.
OR, you can cowgirl up and make a move of your own. If that seems too daunting, maybe just a signal. Or a "non-harmful joke." If a mission objective calls for recon, do some recon. I want to see you digging through this guys' garbage and installing keystroke recording software on his work computer.
And if all that somehow makes things "awkward," you can always claim it was a joke and then spread harmful rumors about him until he's fired. Nothing works like a classic!
