Well this truly depends on how old you are.

If you are under-18, this means that he thinks he loves you because, what else could it mean that he's actually really happy to see you at all times and likes holding your hand and eating popcorn out of the same bucket at the movies.

However, if you are over 18, then it means that he believes saying "I love you" is the shortest distance between not have sex and having sex. While I believe that it doesn't take very long to realize you love somebody, I do think it takes longer than a week and a half to realize it AND be willing to say it.

Unless it's not true but you'd still really like to see her naked, in which case telling your girl that you love her just might do the trick. No pun intended. See, life has taught us that so many women are in search of love and will do anything for love. So if I'm a guy and this girl seems like she's digging me enough to give it up but has yet to do so, and I have RIDICULOUS expectations about how soon she should give up the panties, then I just might think that by saying I love you, I'm increasing the possibility of procuring the booty sooner rather than later.

The worst part about this is that you really never know. As a guy, that is. See, if you say "I love you" and you hit that night, you don't know if its specifically because you used the L-word, or if its because she planned on it anyway. Many women know that they're going to give you some before they do it. Also, if you say it, and two days later, you all bang it out, you STILL don't know if that really helped. It's not like you can ask and then do market research.

Anyway, I'm guessing he's either misguided as all hell and thinks he's in love or he's just trying to get you naked. I'd bank on the latter.
