As long as she plans on continuing to shave her chin I don't see any need to run.
You are freaking amazing, MM! Thank you! Just, thank you! I swear, if there were more guys like you...
Maybe SHE should run from you, Shallow Hal.
You should run for her sake. She deserves some one so much better than you! Really? A few strands of hair are a deal breaker, wow.
She can get laser treatments and you will forever be an asshat. Don't let the screen door hit you in the ass on the way out.
wait til you have crazy eyebrow hair, hair coming out of your nose and growing on your ears buddy, thats the worst she'll have, but things are gonna get baaaad for you later haha
All (most) women get chin hairs at a certain age. It is due to the hormonal changes during peri-menopause (37 +). She probably doesn't even notice them. If it bothers you THAT much, have a female family member discreetly point it out.
Then why is she shaving them?
He didn't say she *was* shaving, he said she was starting to *need* to shave.
Dump her!
Methinks thou art a douche, Sir. As another commenter pointed out, after a certain age hormonal changes cause female facial hair to darken and thicken. Similarly, hormonal changes will cause you to get man boobs and sprout hair from your ears.
She is probably aware of the facial hair. Shaving isn't the best method as the hair comes back stubbly, but she could use Nair (my preferred method--its several months before I have to do it again, it's cheap, and it doesn't hurt) wax (ouch!) or laser (expensive.) But as the other commenters have said, you sound like a shallow twit and she would be better off plucking you from her life and finding a real man.
I would like to point out that some of us get moustache and chin hair even at young age. My friend just happens to have a dark hair type, so she's been waxing her moustache ever since she was 17. And you wouldn't believe the beauty of her, she just happens to grow some hair in unwomanly places. I myself grow chin hair. It's thin and you can barely see it, but I plug out the couple darker once every now and then.
I would also like to point out, that my boyfriend has completely bare chest, except for nipple hair. It isn't pleasent, infact it reminds me of my grandpa, but here's a lession to learn, young man: I put up with it, because the guy is awesome, and none of us are perfect.
What an inane question. Perfect answer, MM.
Original Poster, why stay with a woman who has features you are bothered by? Mystery Man tells you to grow up under the pretense that you are being shallow even asking such a question- but would HE date a 400 pound woman? Probably not. My point is that you can't really control what physical issues turn you on or off, so just follow your gut. Don't try to force something that you can't stand into a positive or you'll be in real trouble down the road. And folks- even if she gets laser hair removal it doesn't change her underlying genetics. She will forever be the carrier of a "hairy face gene" that could be passed on to this guy's kids- and he doesn't want that gene. It's called Natural Selection, people; if you don't like it send all complaints to mother nature. This dude needs to dump her and find a girl who he really digs, without hesitation. Simple as that.
Run. Straight off a cliff.
Lmao. Why are you all being so harsh on the guy? I can agree that women with EXCESS facial hair are not the epitome of attractiveness. However I have to say that that should not apply to your gf, especially if you love her. Love covers a multitude of sins...and keratin based growths as well. My gf is not perfect (including some facial hair) and neither for that matter am I, but we accept each other. We all have preferences.
