That's a filthy habit, and he's probably not even aware he's doing it, like those people I see at the stoplight with a finger two knuckles deep up their nose, as if they are trying to scratch an itch on the ceiling of their skull cavity. I especially like it when the finger finally comes out and they carefully survey their catch and then roll it back and forth between their fingers before flicking it away.
The only way to get Stinky Pete to stop digging for gold is to be straight up with him: "Give it a rest, prospector. That shit's nasty." Or something like that, but maybe a little more tactful. Yes, he will be uncomfortable, but you're doing him a favor.

Just yesterday I saw this guy at a stop light double knuckle deep, trophy hunting up his nose. I was mortified when that grown @$$ man put that 'piece of nasty' in his mouth. I just about tossed my cookies over it. Gag reflexes thing about it. (hurl, hurl)

I'm just curious, cuz I don't understand how an adult woman doesn't know how or when to tell an adult man that picking his nose all the time is disgusting.
My Fiance has been picking his nose and he is always going around blowing it in the air nothing has ever really come out but it is so gross. We have a three year old and I hate for him to pick his nose how do I get onto him when he see's
his daddy? The few things I hate the most is he gets a bloody nose quite often and they are really bad. Another is if he does get anything out of his nose instead of getting a puffs he say's I just BURN it off yuk yuk yuk.
