Full text of the question:
"I cook a bunch of friendly guys at work. We often tease back and forth. They say that they look out for those that take care of them. My dad has always said that guys only hang out with girls for sex and an older friend at work always says that the rest are looking for more whenever they are friendly or tease me. None of the guys have ever tried to get anything more or even get together outside of work. They should know that I am a conservative Christian who would never sleep with them. Am I naive to think they are just being friendly, or is it what it seems?"
Contrary to popular belief, guys are not only interested in sex, and are perfectly capable of simply being friends with a woman. Sounds to me like they are respecting your wishes and beliefs, while staying friendly with you and making sure you are included in the fun.
To confirm this though, listen to them when they tease amongst themselves - if they tease each other similarly to the way they tease you, they are being friendly and that is it.
Your older friend and Dad are right in one respect though. There is always an overtone of flirtation to teasing between friends of the opposite sex. That is just the way people are.
my bf does NOT agree with you MM lol
