I used to think that only women paid attention to women's shoes (kind of like how men wear new and cool shoes to impress other men - don't question it, it's science), but apparently there is an entire population of men out there who are well versed in female shoe game. There are guys who have preferences and can make completely sensical and fashionable choices in women's shoes. I'm amazed every time I see this. And they're not all gay either.
I'm one of those guys who doens't really pay much attention to women's shoes until I see a woman in some shoes that makes her look sexxy. Then I notice and say, wow, that looks sexxy. Period. But normally unless it draws me in, I'm not paying any mind to them.
I will say that red heels do have a way of standing out. I think the allure of pumps (are those the same things as high-heels? I'm a man, help me) is in the alleged sexual virility of the woman wearing them. Which is odd because I've seen some unsexxy women rocking pumps...badly.
Anyway, I think it depends on your man. Most of us probably don't even know why or what makes Louboutins so special. I couldn't even point them out on the street.
Wish I could be more help.
My observations:
Red shoes always get attention, even if they are not heels. You will be called Dorothy a lot. :-)
My boyfriend only notices heels because they make me walk more slowly! He thinks they are kinda silly.
Boots definitely get noticed.
If you feel more confident in heels, your confidence will sure be sexy!
Heels naturally make your legs/butt look better because of the way they make you stand, but I'm not sure if the sight of a girl's heels resting on poles is actually attractive or unattractive in itself.
Women wearting high heeled pumps almost alway give me a hardon. There has been once or so times I ejaculated while watching a good looking woman wearing great looking heels.
