If you trust him and feel like it's something you want to share, go for it. He probably will notice a change while you prep for the procedure, so may want to tell him something. Any decent guy will be supportive and help you get through the rough prep period. We understand that it's a personal decision, and unless he's some religious right-wing nut, he probably won't judge you or try to talk you out of it.
But if you feel like it's something you want to keep private, he doesn't need to know. The relationship is casual, and this is a big life decision that doesn't affect him. But if he's someone you consider a long-term prospect, you might want to tell him. (Plus, you may want someone to talk to after the procedure.) If nothing else, it'll be a test to see if he's good boyfriend material.
And kudos for being an egg doner. From what I've heard, the prep is difficult, so I imagine you're in for a rough month. But it's great that you're giving someone a chance to have a family.

It's not only Christians who might have issues with egg donations. This wasn't a stab at anyone, he was just pointing out that it is possible that his beliefs might not totally support what she's doing.
