Sounds like he already has - he just isn't willing to say so yet . After surviving, not one, but two serious relationships, he is probably a little bit cautious about admitting he has any feelings at all, never mind the L word. Leave him alone and he'll eventually admit it. If you are lucky, he may even say it spontaneously.
In the meantime, have fun and just enjoy life and your dates. You did your time and raised your kids. Why worry about a word, when his actions are showing you the thing you want to hear. Men are most often mute when they are scared to speak.
